Our history

A dream that came to life in 1996.

After 12 years preparing teachers at Instituto de Educação Oswaldo Aranha in Alegrete, educators Maria José Faraco Rodrigues and Diná Araujo Vaucher decided to put their vision of school into practice.

Escola Infantil Vida opened on March 5, 1996. It began with six Early Childhood classes and 96 students and received authorization that same year to gradually introduce Elementary School.

Authorization was granted by the State Council of Education in December 1996 through Opinion 1419/96.
